
Step into the Museum's cozy kitchen and warm up next to the old wood cook stove. See all of the gadgets and gizmos that the modern 19th century farm wife used for preparing and preserving food, cleaning, and making clothes and home furnishings.
The Museum displays a wide assortment of butter churns, cream separators, butter molds and bowls, early canners and canning jars galore. See all of the everyday items that furnished early Eastern Oregon farmhouses. Washday conveniences include ringer washing machines, wash boards, wash stoves, and irons. Displayed is a fine assortment of hand crafted quilts, lace, and rugs along with the tools used to create them.
In the Victorian parlor, see the fine assortment of 19th century wedding dresses. Other period clothing and furnishings are on display throughout the Museum
